Most comms folk working in Brussels are pretty confident that they can deliver advocacy and campaigns messages to core target audiences. But what about young people (15-35-year-olds) across Europe? How can we as communicators and campaigners reach this diverse and sometimes mind-boggling demographic? And what makes them care about an issue?

Nanna Moe Director of Communications and Events at the European Youth Forum will be our guest speaker at the next News & Booze session to give us her expert insights into how to reach and engage with young people.

She will cover:

  • Case studies featuring communications targeting a young audience which resulted in them taking action including storytelling approaches, event communications and social media.
  • Influencers what kind of influencers are an organisation like the European Youth Forum trying to reach, and what are the methods to get them on board with your campaigns and communications?
  • Social media Should you invest in Instagram or concentrate on Snapchat?

We always encourage audience participation so come armed with your own examples and questions for a lively and engaging debate! Networking opportunities with drinks & nibbles follow the speaker session. Note: BYOB!
