Then this space is for you!

Mundo offers several spaces where you can exhibit your creations (cafeteria, lobby of the conference room,…)

We have a preference for projects related to sustainable development.

Mundo entitles itself to select the projects presented.

The installation, care and responsibility of the exhibition is that of the exhibitor.

Mundo-B recognized Eco-dynamic company

This Autumn, Mundo-B has been awarded the “eco-dynamic company” label by the Brussels Region. After thoroughly assessing Mundo-B’s eco-management processes, its achievements in terms of lowering its environmental impact, and its action plan for the three years to come, the Brussels Environment administration awarded us the two-star label (i.e. the maximum new applicants can expect). The Brussels Sustainable House is very proud that an external body recognizes it suits action to its words.

In practice, Mundo-B’s efforts to lower its global footprint consist in:

Thanks to a fundamental ecological renovation, the building’s energy consumption (heating + electricity) performs somewhat 63% better than a classical office building
Only a tiny minority of the waste is sent to incineration. Sorting, recycling, collecting of small dangerous (fluocompact lighbulbs, IT material) or specific waste (cork) and composting care for the reduction of waste production.
Our energy and water consumption are monitored every week to screen potential leaks
We buy our second-hand furniture from the social economy sector
A 300m² parking was transformed into a green area managed without any chemicals
Our vast cycle parking and favorable location engender no car commuting among the 280 employees
We host a broad set of events linked to social change and sustainability and support the actors of these sectors

New Brussels office for organizations managed by Ethical Property

This summer, 3 organizations from the youth sector are moving into a new office space of 500 sqm., at a stone’s throw from Mundo-B. The office is located on Bastion Square, facing the main entrance of the Porte de Namur Metro station. On July 1st, Kind en Samenleving and Vlaamse Scholierenkoepel moved into the building, soon to be followed by Missing Children Europe. This new office space’s concept is the same as in the other Ethical Property centres: the groups benefit from private office spaces, share common spaces (meeting rooms, cafeteria) and have the opportunity from now on to meet on a daily basis and exchange their experiences. Ethical Property doesn’t in this case own the offices, but acts as project coordinator and manager of the centre : management of the facilities, the IT equipment, the contractors and suppliers, etc., so that the organizations may focus on their core business.

The three meeting rooms of this centre will be available to the members of Mundo-B, to be used when no other meeting room is available for instance.

In the long-term, the organizations renting this office space wish to join Mundo-J: a project led by Ethical Property with approximately 10 groups from the youth sector. Together, these organizations want to be hosted in a centre bought and renovated by Ethical Property in the heart of Brussels, dedicated to the fields of childhood and youth, totaling about a hundred people. The Hive : an office to be shared

The Hive has opened its doors in June, to welcome your organization for a few days or permanently, in a shared office space. Exchange, synergies and positive blooming are the keywords of this space hosting small organizations, that benefit from a workstation within a large luminous office.

Be it to manage your European campaigning or to establish the seat of your activity, the Hive offers you, in addition to a functional and furnished office, an access to the conference centre, the meeting rooms, the cafe and other facilities within the centre for an annual fee starting at €250 a year.
